blurb

I’m not attracted to men.
Or so I thought before I slammed into Nikolai Sokolov.
A mafia heir, a notorious bastard, and a violent monster.
An ill-fated meeting puts me in his path.
And just like that, he has his sights set on me.
A quiet artist, a golden boy, and his enemy’s twin brother.
He doesn’t seem to care that the odds are stacked against us.
In fact, he sets out to break my steel-like control and blur my limits.
I thought my biggest worry was being noticed by Nikolai.
I’m learning the hard way that being wanted by this beautiful nightmare is much worse.

my review

God of Fury Unleashed: A Rollercoaster of Laughter and Heartbreak!

Cue the drumroll because the award for the best MC introduction goes to the absolute chaos-loving, horny golden retriever with a doberman's aggression – Nikolai Sokolov! I mean, seriously, the first chapter had me laughing my ass off; he's like a walking tornado of humor and mischief. An absolute treasure, and I fell head over heels for him with each passing chapter.
Now, enter Brandon – quiet, avoiding confrontation, and the embodiment of order, habit, and control. How does he end up in the Heathens' initiation? Blame Nikolai, of course! After their clash, something shifts in both of them. Nikolai loses his touch with Kolya and becomes bored, while Brandon starts questioning everything, including his sexuality.
This book is a whole different beast than expected, and in the best freaking way possible! It's the author's first MM romance, and let me tell you, she nailed it. But beyond that, the emotional rollercoaster in this story shattered me into a million pieces. The mental struggle is so real and heart-wrenching that I fought back tears and lost horribly. Bran's struggles and Nico's aloofness create a cocktail of laughter and sobbing, darkness and light, and easy and hard – an emotional whiplash that's addictive.
I was ready for an unhinged psycho with a thirst for blood, but instead, I got a cinnamon roll, and I couldn't be happier. It wasn't as bloody and brutal as the previous books, but the mental health struggle hit harder. Rina Kent's portrayal of the struggle is unparalleled, especially compared to her previous works. The depth and writing style are astonishing, making this book one of my all-time favorites in record time.
A huge shoutout to Rina Kent for this journey – you truly outdid yourself. God of Fury is a masterpiece that left me laughing, crying, and applauding your writing prowess. Cheers to you, Nikolai, and Bran – you've won over my heart in lightning speed!
